Had the same issues, it was my 3rd time using the car and the steering was lock. I thought i won't gonna be able togl get out of the parking lot. Trying not to panic. 😂

That’s the problem I had. I never learnt how to move slow, so one time on my way from work, I almost cause a rear end accident, that’s when I decided to look up this video, was really helpful 👍

I always worry about doing gas first, than slow creep with the clutch, cause I don’t want to wear my clutch out. Isn’t that how you burn it? I’m teaching myself and hear so many different things

Thanks Chris, stalling's my biggest hurdle in driving. It's usually because of coming off the clutch too quickly. I have quite large feet which doesn't help, slightly easier with trainers than work shoes. Do you know of a specific make/style of shoe that you would recommend for driving?

Passed my driving test yesterday first time with four minors ( literally dumb things whilst stationary like not fully checking blind spots, examiner even said I don't doubt the nerves at certain points took hold but otherwise a solid drive 😊 best advice I can give anyway is have a lesson before hand to iron out any concerns, then make some time to have a tea/coffee break Before the test can use this time to talk through any of the show me tell me stuff if unsure. Then make sure you arrive at the test center in plenty of time to check over any paperwork and ask questions etc. Then for the actual test, I will say what my examiner said to me, my job is today is to simply make sure that if I pass you is that you will have many safe years of driving ahead, I'm not here to judge or criticise you as a person I'm here to help get you safely on the road regardless of today's outcome and I loved that really settled my nerves right away and took the pressure off a bit. He was a top bloke very kind and clear with instructions, I had the drive into a parking bay and emergency stop as my manoeuvres, also nabbed 2 of the minors during the parking. Best of luck to anyone taking there test you will do fine 😊

You get a thousand of these - but heres mine! I passed today with 8 minors and your videos were a huge huge help! Unfortunately I had a very abusive instructor who would swear, get angry, tell me i've failed numerous times on lessons, and just make learning a very negative experience, so i started to look elsewhere thinking 'Surely driving is supposed to be fun?' Then I found your videos! So calm, so helpful, and with a bit more lessons from a friend, I passed :) I'm not a nervous driver, nor do I suffer from anxiety, but trying to learn with an angry teacher just doesnt work! As soon as I was free to learn at a happy calm pace, I started to really enjoy driving! I'll keep subscribed and keep watching for years to come i'm sure, thank you thank you thank you <3

When i use to do driving lessons i mastered parallel park but now i got my own car I'm terrible at it it 😂

My real life experience is, reversing into a bay with cars on at least one side is actually easier, because observing cars next to target slot is easier than having nothing to take reference from.
